Carefully crafted from durable, tactile black and brown canvas micartas, black Japanese ebonite, and smoky gray demonstrator resin from The Pensmiths, this little pen will take all of life's bumps and bruises. The generous section has an exceptionally comfortable taper, and the ebonite/resin/micarta combo provides a light, yet substantial handfeel. This pocket-friendly pen also sports "two modes"! The pen will arrive with a Schmidt PRS rollerball tip installed, allowing you to use all of your fun (non-shimmering) fountain pen inks with the easy, maintenance-free lifestyle that comes with a rollerball pen! If you prefer a fountain pen, no problem; just unscrew the PRS tip and install your favorite size of Traveler's or Jowo #5 fountain pen nib unit. Sporting smooth, single-start threads and a stainless steel clip, this pen will serve you well for years to come. 

This pen is intended to be an eye-dropper, but will also accept standard international short cartridges, and certain short international converters.

Micarta is an industrial material made of fabric, in this case canvas, that has been impregnated with a binding resin. This results in an extremely dense, durable, chemical- & heat-resistant material. The fabric fibers are exposed during machining, and provide a tactile, textured feel.
