All wood barrels are finished with a durable acrylic coating and buffed to a nice glossy sheen. This finish has been left thin, in order to still allow for some natural wood feel to shine through. Due to the thin finish and soft nature of mango and cedar, these pens may dent if abused. I recommend carrying them in a case to protect them!
Rollerball pens will come with a high quality Schneider Topball 850 refill w/ 0.5mm tip and black ink. Fountain pens come with both a black ink cartridge as well as a piston converter for bottled inks.
